Alpe d'Huez Ski Resort

Resort Video

This page contains some video clips from around the resort. To help with download speed the files have been restricted to a short length and low resolution.

Plat des Marmottes
The classic Alpe d'Huez view, as seen in many a brochure, looking down over the bowl from Les Marmottes mountain restaurant at 2300m. The Marmottes I Gondola lift sweeps up from the resort over the gentle interlinking green pistes which cover this part of the mountain.

Troncon 2100
Probably the busiest station in the resort as skiers from Montfrais and Oz en Oisans return via the Dome des Petites Rousses. The Troncon II DMC lift takes skiers up to the 2700m station from here and the blue Couloir piste can get very busy as the quickest route back. The older Lievre Blanc chairlift seen in the foreground allows access to a selection of red pistes whilst the Poutron slope leads down into Oz en Oisans.

Signal
A view east from just below the Signal 2115 station. The immediate piste is the wide blue Stade run fenced off from Hirondelles as it's sometime used for racing. In the far view beyond the town is Auris en Oisans.
