L'Hermitage Residence Review

I would recommend the hotel and resort to everybody. The hotel is
run by Crystal Ski and everyone speaks English and is very
helpful and friendly. It is half board and the food is good. None
of this go up and help yourself buffet style food that is always
cold, it was freshly cooked and we had a choice of 2 starters, 3
main courses and 2 desserts every evening. Rooms were big, warm
and with plenty of wardrobe space etc. 

The reps went out of their way to help which is a nice change to
those that can never seem to be bothered. I left my ski boots at
the airport and only realised on the way to the resort on the
coach so my rep had it organised and within 2 days I had my ski
boots in my room. I also realised when I got home that I had left
my camera in the room, I rang crystal and they found it and got
it sent back to me ... what a relief! 

The resort itself isn't huge but enough shops, bars and
restaurants to see you through. The runs were excellent. We had a
ton of snow when we got there and had numerous dumps through the
week and was only on our return home that the sun had been out
for a few days that it was starting to melt a bit. 

There was also a good choice of all colour runs which suited our
mixed bag group. Unfortunately the lift up to 3300 was closed due
to fog but we found 2700 high enough and got to see the ice
sculptures which are worth seeing. We enjoyed it soo much that
even though we have only just got back we are planning a return
trip with more friends.
